Domain registration service

Domain registration services (also called registrars) are businesses which sell services related to registering and managing Internet domain names.

Verisign maintains a list of companies that offer domain registration services (registrars) that have completed the accreditation program based on guidelines set by by ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers). These registrars provide domain registration services for all .com and .net. domain names.
